Also saw "Wall-E". What a disappointment! I thiought it was too long and too preachy. Do all cartoons now have to have something to do with being 'green' (and I'm not talking Kermit here)? They did that with a couple other movies, too. I like "Toy Story" and "Finding Nemo". There's no way that "Wall-E" will be rated that high in my book.
I just had someone say to me "It better be worth my time to read" after I mentioned that I was writing in my blog. Can you blog in prison? Just wondering.............
Anyhow, we also saw "Wanted". This was not in the same weekend. I like "Wanted" better than "Wall-E" for two reasons.
- Angelina Jolie was in "Wanted".
- Eve tended to sound like she was whining when she said "Wallllllll-EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE".
- That scene when the car got flipped the car over and the guy shot the man thru the open sunroof was AWESOME. Man! The stunts were amazing!
Not sure what movie I'm looking forward to now. I was so excited about "Wall-E" and was so disappointed.............. Maybe I'll just stick to television. My two REALLY can't waits are:
- The last few "Dr. Who" episodes. I know what happens and all I can say is ..."wow".
- EUREKA on July 29th on the Sci-FI channel. This is my favorite show of all time ever. And I'm old (I can remember when "Mr. Ed" had new episodes on...so you know I'm old). I will blog about it...........when the time is right.

maggpi -- thanks for the tip on 'eureka'. i love that show, too. i'll have to write it down on my calendar so i won't forget. the most recent 'dr. who' (the one where the doctor's companion turns right instead of left) was a real winner; but i couldn't figure out what that big piggyback beatle was all about...
